Qualified Social Worker – Referral and Assessment Achieving For Children Organisation Kingston and Richmond area We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within the Referral and Assessment service in the Social work Industry. Our client Achieving for Children has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Wokingham Borough. Main duties include: Initial Assessments and Core Assessments Section 47 Investigations Contributing to the duty rota Initiating care proceedings Working in a multi-agency capacity to support families and children Initial child protection reports conference reports Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (degree or diploma). Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England). Proven experience in a social work role, (preferably within Referral and Assessment but this is not essential) Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
