Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you a fully qualified teacher looking for a new role? Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting a permanent science teacher in Doncaster.

Simply Education is currently working with a post-16 SEMH provision in Doncaster to recruit a dedicated and resilient Science Teacher to join their team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment. This will be a full time permanent position starting as soon as possible. This provision is for students who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to their challenging behaviours and for students who require a more specialised setting than a mainstream college.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
  • A high level of resilience and the ability to manage and support challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
  • A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and related behavioural strategies.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
