We are hiring Pega professionals to join our fantastic team. We have different roles at different levels from System Architects to Lead System Architect. In 1999 Cognizant started their Pega journey with its first banking customer. Fast forward to 2025 and Cognizant has earned Pega's Global Elite Partner Distinction.
What will I be doing if I am hired?
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Analyse functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements keeping the Pega OOTB features. Provide inputs on technical feasibility of requirements.
- Design: Prepare high level and low-level design keeping in mind the customer NFRs and constraints. Guide team in preparation of technical specification document and review the same. Understand and ensure Guardrail compliance in the project. Create class structure. High level architectural aspects of non-Pega technologies in Pega ecosystem.
- Coding and Code Review: Perform hands on coding and guide team in coding as per agreed design. Conducting code review and the elements to check during code review.
- General: Guide relevant stakeholders (clients/internal teams) and enterprise assets development with the objective of standardizing the overall solution architecture from a technology/infrastructure perspective within the limits of the EAS processes, standards, and guidelines. Ensures that the architecture leverages Pega's out-of-the-box functionality to the maximum extent. Create a scalable architecture capable of accommodating future requirements. Coordinate between Business, QA and development team for defects triaging.
What do I need to be successful?
- Hands-on Experience with Pega
- Experience of Designing patterns in Pega, Knowledge around complex Integrations, AES/PDC and other non-functional aspects of a Pega project.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations
- Knowledge and experience on at least one Pega Industry framework
- It would be ideal to be Pega CSSA or PEGA CLSA Certified depending on the level
