As a Dance Teacher with PE, your role will include:
- Delivering engaging Dance lessons to KS3 and KS4, with some PE teaching responsibilities
- Promoting student participation in both curriculum and extracurricular dance and sports activities
- Creating a positive classroom and sports environment that encourages effort, creativity, and perseverance
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback and support
- Collaborating with colleagues in the PE and Performing Arts departments
To be considered for the Dance Teacher with PE role, you must:
- Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Dance (and ideally PE) in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom engagement skills
- Be passionate about developing students' physical confidence and creative expression
- Possess a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
