Science Teacher

We are currently seeking a well-rounded Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 in a Secondary Academy within Birmingham., * Planning and delivering lessons within the Science department

• Modelling positive behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches

• Pupil feedback, target setting and progressive learning

• Support students with intervention on 1:1 and small group basis

• Assess, record and monitor pupil progress and attainment

• Knowledge of inclusive practice to include SEND pupils

• Establish positive relationships with colleagues, parents and students

• Right to work in the UK

• Previous experience teaching within a UK educational setting

• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum

• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service

• QTS

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children

• Experience working with SEND pupils is ideal
