Salary: £18.00 per hour

Location: 10-minute drive from Uxbridge / 40 minutes via public transport

Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–12:00 (37 hours per week)

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x basic rate (5–10 hours per week available)

Goods In Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting machined and goods-in components using hand tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and inspecting components to tight tolerances
  • Completing inspection documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Recording data using SAP and documenting non-conformances
  • Working to aerospace standards and contributing to product quality

Goods In Inspector Requirements:

  • Experience with PC-DMIS CMM programming and/or working with Hexagon Lazer Scanning Arm
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Skilled in using precision measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
  • Good understanding of GD&T and both metric and imperial measurement systems
  • Previous experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, or Subcontract Manufacturing
  • CMM experience is beneficial but not essential
