About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Midweight Interior Designer (internally titled Project Designer) to play a key role in shaping engaging workplace environments. You’ll join a supportive design team where creativity is valued and initiative is encouraged. Working closely with senior designers, internal teams, and external stakeholders, you’ll lead on concept creation, space planning, and design delivery from pitch to completion. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for commercial interiors, a strong eye for detail, and the confidence to communicate design ideas to clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate client briefs into compelling design concepts and visual presentations
- Develop and deliver creative mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D visuals, and full pitch decks
- Prepare detailed layouts, specifications, and FF&E schedules
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery
- Assist in managing project budgets and timelines with support from senior team members
- Conduct site visits and surveys, ensuring full design compliance and quality execution
- Present ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
- Mentor and support junior designers as needed
- Stay up to date on design trends, materials, and sustainable solutions
- Contribute to a positive team culture that values innovation, diversity, and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial interior design sector
- Proficiency in InDesign, AutoCAD (Vectorworks beneficial), SketchUp, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven experience in workplace design & build projects (10,000 sq ft+ preferred)
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
