We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support the Quality Assurance function within a specialist electromechanical manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role involving inspection, validation, and final testing of advanced technical systems used across a range of high-security applications. You will be working as part of a fast-paced, compliance-driven quality team ensuring products meet the highest standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections at all stages: goods-in, in-process, and final assembly
- Perform final acceptance testing, including packaging checks
- Use of CMM, FARO Arm, and other quality/test equipment including radiation measurement tools
- Record inspection data, compile reports, and support continuous quality improvement
- Collaborate on inspection plans and control documentation
- Support non-conformance identification, assist with MRB and corrective actions
- Help maintain calibration standards and support internal quality audits
- Follow strict quality and compliance procedures aligned with ISO9001
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector in an electromechanical or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings
- Skilled in the use of metrology tools, particularly CMM and FARO Arm
- Understanding of ISO9001 standards and quality management systems
- Confident working independently and as part of a structured quality team
- Competent in Microsoft Office/Office365 applications
