Temporary Facilities Manager - Further Education College
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: £25 - £30 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-Time)
Eden Brown are seeking a full time temporary Facilities Manager to support the Head of Estates in delivering a high-quality, responsive Estate's service that benefits both students and staff. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the College's estate is maintained to the highest standard while championing sustainability and health & safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Estates in managing day-to-day maintenance activities, minimising disruption to students and staff.
- Oversee the coordination of planned and specialist maintenance, ensuring all work is completed in line with legislation and good practice.
- Manage contractors and in-house teams, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Enforce the College's Sustainability Plan, focusing on waste reduction, eco-friendly products, and energy efficiency.
- Co-chair the Health & Safety Committee, ensuring health & safety standards are embedded across all activities.
- Support the maintenance of Building Plans, ensuring they align with College priorities.
- Coordinate Estates & Facilities Helpdesk operations and provide essential reporting on key activities and utilities management.

- Ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, from contractors to College staff.
