The Recruitment Co are looking for a PDI Engineer in Chapel-town to complete pre-delivery inspections, repairs and tests to a range of construction plant equipment for a leading plant hire company, due to expanding their team. What to Expect: Conduct thorough checks and tests on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to verify compliance with manufacturer and customer specifications. Assemble parts or accessories, make necessary adjustments or repairs, and optimise performance. Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of completed work. Prepare equipment for delivery by cleaning, fuelling, and installing any requested customisations. Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and quality standards before delivery. Possess technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.What We Need From You: Proven experience in inspecting and repairing construction plant equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose faults effectively. Main dealer experience or relevant qualifications (advantageous but not essential). A full, clean driving licence. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.
