Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing with experience in the Consumer Brands, Consumer Products, Luxury Goods, Retail or Homewares sectors to drive brand growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across multiple regions and channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of premium consumer products, global brand positioning, and a passion for innovation in marketing and digital strategies.
Key accountabilities:
- Global Marketing Strategy – Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and strengthens its presence in the global premium goods market.
- Brand Positioning – Elevate brand awareness and reinforce the company’s identity in their space.
- Multichannel Campaigns – Lead the creation and execution of omnichannel marketing campaigns across digital, TV, OOH, radio, print, PR, social media, and experiential marketing.
- Customer Acquisition – Develop data-driven, personalised marketing campaigns focusing on customer segmentation to attract customers, leveraging channels like social media, email marketing, PPC & print for optimal reach.
- Market Research and Consumer Insights – Leverage market analysis, customer segmentation, and data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and targeted campaign messaging.
- Team Leadership – Build, manage and mentor a global marketing team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Budget and ROI Management – Oversee the marketing budget and ensure optimal ROI through performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
- Partnerships and Collaborations – Cultivate relationships with media agencies, and strategic partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Digital and E-commerce – Drive online marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to enhance the e-commerce experience and generate qualified traffic.
Skills / attributes required:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience – Minimum of 10 years in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position within the premium consumer products/retail industry.
- Market Expertise - Proven track record in expanding brand awareness in premium consumer products/retail.
- Global Expansion – Experience working in diverse, international markets with a deep understanding of regional cultural nuances.
- Leadership Skills – Strong team management experience with a focus on mentoring, performance optimisation, and fostering creativity.
- Digital Proficiency – Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including social media, SEO, SEM, and e-commerce growth.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to shape and optimise marketing efforts.
- Communication Skills – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
