Student Communications and Engagement Coordinator

I\’m currently working with a leading University on the search for a Student Communications and Engagement Coordinator on a 3-month contract, working 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely.

What you\’ll be doing:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive student communications strategy that aligns with the university\’s objectives.
• Creating engaging and informative content for various platforms, including our student portal, social media channels, email newsletters, and digital signage.
• Managing and maintaining student-facing communication channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of information.
• Collaborating with different departments (e.g., student services, academic schools, marketing) to gather information and coordinate communication efforts.
• Developing and executing student engagement initiatives, events, and campaigns that foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
• Supporting student-led activities and societies, providing guidance and promotional support.
• Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities, using data to inform future strategies.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in student communication and engagement within the higher education sector.
• Acting as a key point of contact for student communication enquiries.
