Our client based in Tewkesbury, who is a specialist within their sector, is currently recruiting a Finance and Office Assistant to join their close-knit team on a full-time basis. Whilst finance will be your core focus, this is a multifaceted role, so the ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude and willingness to get 'stuck in' to support the wider team to ultimately contribute to the efficiency and growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers
- Monitoring credit control and costs
- Assisting with bi-weekly payment runs and cash flow tracking
- Support preparation VAT returns, management accounts and year-end statutory filings
- Maintain accurate stock and asset registers
- Assist in onboarding suppliers and subcontractors
- Log outgoing tenders and client purchase orders to support billing accuracy
- Act as the primary liaison with external IT support services
- Manage employee records and employment documentation
- Provide general administrative support and ensure accurate record keeping
- Support adherence to company policies and operational procedures
