Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Multi Skilled Fabric Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Fabric Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Multi Skilled Fabric Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Multi Skilled Fabric Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a building fabric service such as tiling, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs.
  • Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector, or similar, with basic tiling, carpentry or plumbing skills as you will be carrying out fabric repairs.
  • You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates.
