My client is a leading global supplier of Engineering equipment across Power, Plant Machinery, Access Control and Rail to name a few. They are now looking for a number of Electrically biased Generator Engineers to bolster their Service team across the UK. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Generator background, will be familiar with synchronisation of multiple Generator setups, will ideally have High Voltage experience / qualifications and will be prepared to travel as required.

Electrical Generator Engineer Job Overview

  • Installation, commissioning, operation & decommissioning of multiple power projects across the UK & Europe
  • Undertaking Service and Maintenance operations on Power equipment across the UK and / or abroad
  • Ensuring RAMS are completed as required
  • Attending equipment failures as required and offering first time fix services
  • Ensuring all work is undertaken in line with Health and Safety legislation

Electrical Generator Engineer Job Requirements

  • Previous experience maintaining and servicing Diesel Generators, Control Panels, Alternators and / or UPS systems
  • Previous experience working on Generators up to 1250 KvA
  • Proficient in Synchronising multiple Gensets and dealing with systems multiple Megawatts in size
  • 18th edition qualified
  • High voltage authorised would be beneficial
  • ECS / CSCS card
  • Prepared to travel UK wide as required with an openness to travelling in Ireland and Europe
  • Full driving licence and valid passport

Electrical Generator Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
  • Overtime, Door to Door pay and standby rate included in OTE
  • Company Van
  • 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • Full time, 42.5 hour week
  • Pension
