Our client is recruiting a General Manager for their high end refurbished pub and restaurant that will be opening this Summer in the North Oxfordshire area of the Cotswolds. You will have full responsibility for the running of the pub restaurant, bedrooms, profitability, staffing and maintaining first class service levels at the pub. The role is fully hands on and you will work the floor interacting with guests and staff daily to ensure outstanding guest experience. Due to location you will need your own transport.

The Role
- Responsible for all aspects of food and drinks service
- Dealing with all bookings queries
- Developing good relationships with food and wine suppliers
- Managing the front of house teams
- Training and developing the team
- Managing all financial aspects of the restaurant
- Achieving agreed financial targets including GP margin
The Person
- Already working in a restaurant or gastro pub as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager
- A leader who constantly develops and coaches the team
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to offer an outstanding level of service in a relaxed manner
