My client is recruiting for an experienced Stores Person to join their established team. You will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, accuracy, and cleanliness of the storeβs operations, with a strong focus on stock control and component distribution.
You will:
- Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate stock levels and records
- Pick and prepare orders for various departments
- Perform regular stock counts and inventory checks
- Serve internal customers promptly and professionally
- Process incoming parts from 'Goods In' through to Inspection
- Distribute inspected parts to the appropriate departments
- Support logistics for events
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Provide support to other departments as needed
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a general stores or warehouse environment
- Have the willingness to undertake forklift training
- Be eligible to complete Known Consignor Training, including a verifiable 5-year background history
- Have experience working within ERP software, ideally SAP
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Be flexible, reliable, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure
