Join the team! As a Warehouse Sorter for Angard Staffing, this role will be based at our busy Parcelforce distribution centre. You’ll load and unload vehicles; scanning and labelling parcels quickly and efficiently, making sure every single package leaves our processing centre on time and in perfect condition.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Loading and unloading large parcels from vehicles, always ensuring careful handling of items.
- Operating the parcel sort machine as part of a team, contributing to the smooth running of the distribution process.
- Switching between various tasks during a shift, adapting to the needs of the operation.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg, equivalent to 32 bags of sugar, and pushing up to 250kg with assistance provided for larger items.
- Standing comfortably for extended periods during the shift.
As a Warehouse Sorter, you will need the following:
- Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30kg.
- Previous experience in warehouse or sorting work is advantageous but not essential. If you have worked for other distribution companies like Amazon, DPD, DHL, or XPO, you are highly desirable.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Upbeat and self-motivated.
- A brilliant team player.
