Rail/Transport Sector

PageGroup are delighted to support a successful organisation in the Rail/Transportation Sector with the appointment of a HR Project Partner to join the Workforce Development/OD function for a 12 months interim role. This role can offer hybrid working of circa 3 days in the office and 2 home per week. The role will require some travel to other sites in London and Crewe.

The role of HR Project Partner will report to the Head of Workforce Development and support with a range of tasks/projects including but not limited to:

  • Gathering, interpreting, analysing and presenting HR/OD data in a concise and comprehensive manner.
  • Undertaking research and analysis to support the development of new strategies and action plans.
  • Keeping up to date information on development of new practices and trends in the HR environment (terms and conditions, new roles, pay practices and engagement activities).
  • Building, organising and maintaining a library of HR/OD documentation including role profiles for future operations, job families, terms and conditions, HR policies.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement/innovation regarding development of HR practices.
  • Organising and facilitating engagement events with a wide range of colleagues - Helping to set up workshops, working groups and presenting on the work being delivered, analysis and write-ups.
  • Supporting bench-marking exercise with external organisations/suppliers.

A successful applicant for the role of HR Project Partner will demonstrate a broad knowledge within generalist HR and/or OD. Ideally with some exposure to the above duties/projects in a previous role.

Up to £47000 Hybrid working - 3 days office and 2 home 12 month Interim - possible scope for extension.
