Job Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced Outliner to join a well-established and busy bodyshop based in Throckmorton. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation process by masking and outlining vehicles in readiness for painting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mask vehicles to a high standard to protect all non-painted areas

• Use masking tape, plastic sheeting, and paper to accurately outline trims, windows, lights, and other components

• Work efficiently with preppers and paint technicians to maintain workflow

• Ensure all masking is completed precisely to prevent overspray and achieve clean paint lines

• Conduct quality checks before vehicles enter the spray booth

• Follow health and safety procedures within the workshop

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Outliner, Masker, or Outliner/Prepper within an automotive bodyshop

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

• Good understanding of masking tools, techniques, and materials

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent performance
