Vision for Education is currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds (LS8) to start Sept 2025 on a Full-Time basis. We are recruiting for 2 SEND TA roles in the school. These roles have the potential to become permanent following a successful supply period.
Roles:
- Working 1-2-1 predominantly with a Year 4 aged pupil with ASD. You will support them through their learning.
- Working 1-2-1 predominantly with a Year 1 pupil with SEND needs. You will support them through their learning.
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial, and experience of supporting the EHCP process would also be advantageous.

This school is an inner-city 2 form Primary school located in LS8 that welcomes a diverse range of pupils. Kindness and respect are engrained seamlessly throughout this very supportive primary school.

- Confident in using behaviour management strategies and providing emotional support.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND.
- Inclusivity at the forefront of your work.
- Patient, empathetic, and understanding, with a commitment to enhancing the learning experience for children with SEND.
