- This isnt just a technical role - its strategic and collaborative.
- Youll work closely with engineering, data governance, and leadership teams to ensure information flows smoothly across the business, and that new platforms or technologies are integrated thoughtfully and effectively.
- Youll be bringing clarity where there currently isnt much - laying down the foundations, frameworks, and standards that will guide how data is managed, modelled, and used in the future.
- That includes setting principles for governance, assessing vendors, and advising on whether data mesh, fabric, or warehousing solutions best suit the business needs.
- Youll also act as a voice of reason and challenge and be able to hold your own in conversations with engineering and architecture peers.
Theres a healthy appetite for change here, but the environment needs someone with the right level of gravitas, influence and vision to make it happen!

- Sound knowledge of modern data architecture approaches - data mesh, fabric, warehouse, etc.
- Technical background in data modelling, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and ETL/ELT.
- Confident challenging and influencing at senior levels.
- Experience collaborating across technology, engineering, and business leadership.
- Strong communicator able to translate technical ideas for non-technical stakeholders.
