Commercial Associate / Senior Associate (3-6PQE) – Leading City Law Firm

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading city law firm who are looking to hire an Associate / Senior Associate into their leading Commerce & Technology team in London.

A full-service firm in London, our client is known for their expertise in transactional, advisory and regulatory work advising successful businesses, their leaders and investors. It is a recognised leader in real estate, IP, commercial and FinTech.

The Team

Our clients commercial team provides advice on various commercial contracts (B2C & B2B) for clients who are UK and international multi-nationals, household names, small and medium sized businesses, and entrepreneurs as well as trade associations.

The Role

As an Associate in this team, you will have a focus on the fashion and technology sectors. Your role will include:

• Drafting and negotiating B2B and B2C commercial agreements, often with international elements.
• Advising on:
• Agency agreements (including Commercial Agents Regulations)
• Distributorship agreements
• Online platforms, website/app terms, and social media
• Handling non-contentious IP (licensing, franchising, ownership, protection).
• Providing pre-litigation advice.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have between 3-6 years PQE with strong commercial experience, ideally within the same sectors. This experience will have been gained at another leading private practice firm in London or regionally.
