Job Role:

  • Full class responsibilities for a Year 6 class, including planning and marking

  • Delivering lessons that follow the National Curriculum and cater to the needs of all students in Key Stage 2 (KS2)

  • Managing the classroom environment and promoting excellent behaviour management

  • Preparation and support for SATs assessments, ensuring students are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school

  • Collaboration with fellow Primary Teachers and staff in a 2-form entry school

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Experience teaching in Primary Schools, particularly in Key Stage 2 (KS2)

  • Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and preparation for SATs

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, with a focus on student achievement and well-being
