Deerfoot Recruitment is assisting a global consultancy client with the search for both a Lead Azure Engineer and also an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to support a range of Azure infrastructure initiatives within a forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Azure cloud solutions using modern DevOps practices. You will be responsible for building and managing robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Azure cloud services, while working collaboratively with developers, architects, and operations teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and DevOps tools
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and ARM templates
- Azure DevOps (ADO) with YAML pipelines
- Experience with Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIM, and App Services
- Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong grasp of Azure networking, security, and identity management
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Log Analytics, Application Insights
- Knowledge of GitOps and DevSecOps practices
- Previous experience in cost monitoring and performance optimisation on Azure
- Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305, and AZ-500 are highly desirable.
