A growing name in the London M&E market is seeking a proven Mechanical Project Manager to lead site delivery across a range of commercial projects. With projects typically valued up to £2m, this is a role suited to a hands-on manager comfortable taking ownership from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
You’ll be joining a stable, tight-knit team with a strong track record of repeat business. SGI Mechanical is well-positioned for growth, and the leadership is looking for a delivery-focused manager who can drive programmes forward, manage subcontractors on site, and act as the key point of contact with main contractors and consultants.
Projects are primarily in London and the surrounding areas, so candidates must be comfortable with site-based travel. Support is provided by internal design and commercial teams, but the successful candidate will be expected to take day-to-day ownership of mechanical packages.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing mechanical (HVAC and public health) installations on building services projects
- Ability to lead on-site delivery, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and handle client-facing responsibilities
- SSSTS or SMSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications
- Previous experience running jobs valued between £500k–£2m
