Manufacturing Group based in Havant, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support the sales and operational teams in business decision making through the provision of detailed analysis of key performance indicators. The role will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment.
What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
- Reporting to the Head of the Financial Planning and Analysis, the key responsibilities of the position will include:
- Supporting the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting processes;
- Manage the rebate tracking and provisions highlighting any risks/opportunities;
- Analysing stock positions and feed into stock review processes to ensure that risk of obsolescence is properly considered, and risks identified;
- Supporting with customer meetings and pitches where appropriate;
- Providing monthly analysis on sales performance, future forecasts and key risks and opportunities for the Head of FPA and Head of Finance;
- Maintaining and reporting of product market share and competitor analysis.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner opportunity:
- Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and have previous experience of undertaking a similar role in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding organisation;
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills will be essential to undertake the role successfully as will the ability to challenge key decision makers to improve processes and performance;
- Candidates must be available on no more than 4 weeks notice.
