Our client is seeking an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer to join their team, configuring and optimising Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Shure MXW wireless systems, Q-SYS, Biamp Tesira, Extron DSPs and other professional AV platforms, validating performance through rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing and on-site commissioning.
Duties:
- Build, load and refine DSP files for Q-SYS Designer, Biamp Tesira and Extron
- Integrate Shure MXW/ULXD receivers, AEC routing, automixing and presets
- Develop control modules or macros as required - such as Q-SYS Lua, Extron Global Scripter
- Provision, register and certify Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms (Windows & Android)
- Validate firmware, USB routing and network QoS settings
- Assemble "rack-on-a-desk" mock-ups, loading code and firmware prior to deployment
- Produce and execute FAT scripts, documenting pass/fail criteria and change logs
- Fine-tune EQ, gain structure, AEC, latency and loudspeaker alignment
- Create block diagrams, signal-flow charts, IP/EDID tables and certificate bundles
- Hand over updated drawings, DSP files and user guides to Service & Support teams
- Work closely with Project Implementation teams to meet go-live dates
- Provide remote or on-site troubleshooting during the warranty period
Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Q-SYS, Biamp Tesira, Extron DSP Staging and certifying Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
- First hand working with Shure MXW/ULX-D, P300, IntelliMix and Dante Audio Networks
- Network fundamentals (VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping)
- Able to read / edit AutoCAD / Visio schematics
