Soho Apprenticeship provides on-the-job training to support people at the beginning of their careers or anyone who might be starting a new career with us. Through this training programme you will gain exposure to different departments across the business, have the opportunity to work in different sites and rotate around sections in the kitchens. You'll earn a recognised qualification (Commis Chef Level 2), take part in professional development sessions with our leadership team and have a dedicated mentor.
Your Journey
- Working full time in our kitchens and training with our chefs in either Pen Yen, our Japanese restaurant, Cecconi's, our Italian restaurant, or in one of the House Kitchens.
- Starting off with the basics, you will rotate around all sections in the kitchen with guidance from your mentor and other senior chefs in the kitchen.
- 'Chef Academy' days at an external cookery school, to develop your culinary skills in a learning environment and complete practical training.
- Dedicated time each month to work towards your apprenticeship qualification, with the support of your trainer and early careers team.
- Masterclasses with our senior chefs and supplier trips to elevate your culinary knowledge and skills.
- Our internal learning and development opportunities will give you all of the skills to excel with everything you do.

- Do I need any previous experience in hospitality in order to be considered? No. This programme is designed specifically for those with minimal to no prior experience, with a passion for hospitality.
- What locations will the scheme be based in? We will be placing apprentices across our Farmhouse, Great Tew, Chipping Norton.
