We’re recruiting for a key administrative role within a busy warehouse and transport operation based at Marston Gate. As a Goods Out Administrator, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and despatched on time. This is a mixed role - part desk-based, part warehouse-based - so we’re looking for someone who’s equally confident with admin systems and rolling up their sleeves when needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running customer orders from the system and logging them on internal trackers
- Checking pick notes and converting them to delivery notes once a carrier is confirmed
- Printing and preparing labels for completed picks
- Liaising with transport and warehouse teams to co-ordinate deliveries
- Communicating with customers by phone and email to confirm delivery schedules
- Supporting with stock discrepancies, order checks, and non-conformance reporting
- Assisting with KPI reporting, document checks, and audit readiness (Quality/ISO/BRC)
- Helping across departments during busy periods and holiday cover
What we’re looking for:
- Strong admin background, ideally in a warehouse/logistics environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Highly organised with a methodical, detail-focused approach
- Physically fit and happy to work in both office and warehouse environments
- Great communication skills - verbal and written
- Calm under pressure and confident asking for support when needed
- Flexible with shifts and willing to support occasional weekend/overtime during peak
Why apply?
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be right at the heart of the action. If you’re an experienced administrator who enjoys variety and thrives under pressure, we’d love to hear from you.
