An exciting opportunity has arisen with our clients, a respected independent Property management company / Estate agency, as an Inventory Clerk covering the Essex area either on an employed or self-employed remote working basis.

The role of Inventory Clerk involves:

  • Visiting all managed properties to prepare an initial inventory report prior to tenants moving in
  • Conducting mid-term inspections
  • Ensuring the tenants are looking after the managed properties throughout their tenancy/occupation
  • Conducting a 'check out' inspection
  • Negotiating deposit returns
  • General office administration
  • Managing own diary and arranging all appointments

Salary:

  • (Employed) Basic salary is £25,000 - £27,000 pa & 45p a mile
  • (Self-employed) Package is negotiable. Must have more than 3 years experience. 45p per mile.
  • Ongoing training & support

Working Hours:

  • As an employed Inventory Clerk, you’ll be required to work 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
  • As a self-employed Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for undertaking 700 inspections per year within an agreed time frame and will be able to work remotely.
