As a Senior eCommerce Executive, you will play a key role in delivering impactful online campaigns and promotions, working closely with trading, digital marketing, and optimisation teams. With a focus on driving sales, enhancing conversion, and maximising performance across key KPIs, you will take ownership of trading initiatives while developing expertise in ecommerce systems and tools. Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily trading operations of the platforms, ensuring performance aligns with business goals and seasonal trends.
- Analyse trading data across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual timeframes, identifying key business drivers and recommending strategic actions to meet sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and customer behaviour to support a commercially driven approach to homeware assortment and promotions.
- Manage and oversee website updates, including content refreshes and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing plans and trading calendars.
- Take ownership of campaign and promotional planning, ensuring critical paths are managed from concept to execution.
- Collaborate closely with digital marketing and optimisation teams to align product and trading strategies across all online touchpoints.
- Oversee the quality and performance of product content on the site.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure a unified approach to ecommerce execution.
- Actively contribute to the broader ecommerce strategy and represent the digital trading function in cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring ecommerce KPIs are communicated and achievable.
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a digital trading or ecommerce role within a retail or consumer-facing homeware environment.
- Proficiency with ecommerce platforms; experience with Hybris is essential.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in reporting tools including Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of SEO, online merchandising, and digital performance metrics.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
