Our client is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join their team. The company is passionately committed to providing friendly, expert and outstanding value and design, and communications solutions. This role will provide effective warehouse organisation including stock control, loading and unloading vehicles, storing and distributing goods and management of the flow of goods in and out.

Job tasks:

  • Manage Stock
  • Pick stock for delivery as required
  • Ensure stock items are correctly labelled, stored safely and kept in good condition
  • Keep packing and storage areas clean and tidy
  • Control of ‘goods in’
  • Receive delivered goods, unload delivery vehicles as required
  • Record receipt of items in Tharstern (Computerised Management Information System)
  • Ensure deliveries reach the correct recipient
  • Label and stack stock in the correct location
  • File delivery notes
  • Control of ‘goods out’
  • Prepare jobs for dispatch
  • Raise delivery notes
  • Organise van routes
  • Book couriers as required
  • Load and unload delivery vans as required
  • Manage movement of work in process
  • Control the movement of work between departments
  • Ensure good housekeeping and company image
  • Keep front and rear of building clear of rubbish
  • Keep factory tidy
  • Properly stack used pallets, disposing of broken ones, return remainder to supplier
  • Operate forklift truck as required

Candidate requirements:

  • First Aid Certificate & Fire Marshall trained (preferred)
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Continuous improvement mind set, daily search for ways to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Good numerical and literacy levels
  • 2 years warehouse management experience (preferred)
