The Ecommerce Manager will report to the Brand Marketing Director and take full ownership of the UK ecommerce channel. The role focuses on managing the website, improving digital acquisition and retention, and delivering an engaging on-site experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and supply chain teams, ensuring campaign excellence, site optimisation, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities- Website Management & Trading
- Oversee daily operations of the UK website to deliver a smooth, high-performing user journey
- Hit key performance targets including revenue, conversion rate, average order value, and traffic
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaign launches and ensure timely content execution
- Manage inventory forecasting in partnership with supply chain to ensure stock availability
- Merchandising site content across product, category, and promotional pages for optimal UX
- Monitor analytics using platforms such as Google Analytics and Triple Whale to identify conversion opportunities and performance gaps
- Lead continuous UX and UI improvements to enhance usability and drive customer retention
- Coordinate with developers and third-party agencies to troubleshoot and implement website enhancements
- Digital Growth & Acquisition
- Optimise on-site SEO to increase organic reach and improve keyword visibility
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to execute and optimise paid media strategies
- Ensure alignment across channels to maintain cohesive customer journeys and strong conversion paths
- Support email marketing through segmentation strategies that boost engagement and personalisation
- Customer Experience & Retention
- Contribute to CRM and email marketing strategies in collaboration with the Brand Manager
- Support the implementation of loyalty programmes and customer retention initiatives tailored to the UK market
- Proven success in managing and scaling direct-to-consumer ecommerce platforms, preferably within beauty or haircare
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and data tools such as Google Analytics, Triple Whale, and Klaviyo
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving growth through data-led decisions
- Deep understanding of digital customer journeys and cross-channel marketing strategies
- Up-to-date knowledge of ecommerce trends, UX best practices, and performance analytics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confident self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
