Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in maintenance and facilities operations? We’re currently looking for a Project Through Life Support Manager to join a fast-paced team at Portsmouth Naval Base on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary of up to £50,000 DOE and an immediate start available.
In this role, you’ll be the key link between project delivery and long-term service support, ensuring a smooth transition of infrastructure projects from construction into operational service. You’ll manage asset handovers, liaise across departments, handle maintenance planning, and contribute to continuous improvement in a complex, high-security environment. You’ll need to be comfortable managing change, collaborating across teams, and taking ownership of through-life support for both new and modified assets.
What do you need?
- HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline
- Project Management degree is desirable
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or SMSTS)
- Experience managing handovers in a construction or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of maintenance and facilities operations
- Ability to use CAFM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Security clearance or ability to obtain
- Full right to work in the UK
