The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance processes of products in their sector and ensuring that the product meets criteria. The Quality Manager will maintain and improve the companies quality systems and play an important role in promoting a culture of safety, environmental and quality excellence also working to ensure all systems are implemented and maintained to the required certifications.
The Quality Manager will be required to:
- Support the compliance manager to maintain the Quality Management systems for ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
- Manage quality control plans using a risk based management approach
- Manage the investigation of quality issues (IPQC, FQC, OQC)
- Support the compliance manager with internal audits
- Carry out and record supplier audits (desk top reviews, site visits)
- Put in place corrective action processes for any non-conformances with internal and supplier issues to drive forward continuous improvement
- Ensure that customers receive products & services to the highest standards of quality
Requirements:
- Experience of managing & improving quality in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of managing QMS Systems (ISO 9001)
- Experience of Internal auditing and able to facilitate external auditors
- Able to carry out root cause analysis and put in place corrective actions
- A good knowledge of ERP systems
- Prepare reports, analyse and make recommendations
- Strong experience in an Engineering/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 & ISO 14001
- Experience in lean manufacturing, problem solving and continuous improvements
