This is a superb opportunity to further your career working for one of the world’s largest insurance brokers, who are well-established in the local business community and look after many of the region’s largest and best-known companies. This firm has a fine reputation for offering bespoke training and development, as well as providing a myriad of opportunities for progression. Here, you will be responsible for the day to management of a team of circa 6 Account Handlers, each typically handing cases that generate in excess of £10,000 fee income. Clients will be from a range of industry sectors, both blue and white collar, and some will have complex global exposures. Duties will include, but by no means be limited to: Holding regular 1-2-1’s, to ensure that colleagues remain engaged with the business objectives, whilst progressing in line with their own ambitions. Resource planning and allocating workloads to ensure that Account Handlers are able to provide a high level of service to colleagues and clients alike. Auditing work from a quality and compliance perspective, drawing up action plans to remedy any issues identified.
