Our client, a well-established and respected law firm in Eastbourne, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing team. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services and has a strong reputation in the local property market.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will handle a varied caseload of residential property matters, ensuring smooth transactions from instruction to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a high-quality caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Handling freehold and leasehold transactions
- Conducting title checks, preparing contracts, and dealing with Land Registry applications
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Ensuring compliance with CQS requirements
- Providing exceptional client care and maintaining strong relationships
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive)
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Experience with case management systems and digital conveyancing platforms
