Account management role covering Scotland and the North East down to Carlisle. Established for over 30 years, British manufacturer with a global reputation and household name with a recognisable brand. Dealing with new and existing customers, growing the PPE / Workwear division. Selling to industrial end users.
Excellent package including your choice of a company car or car allowance. Salary: £40,000 OTE 20%, with a mobile phone, laptop, pension, 25 days holiday, company discounts and a hybrid company car.
The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Manager, responsible for managing and developing relationships across the North which starts in Scotland including the North East down to Carlisle selling to industrial customers, selling a full range of PPE and workwear. Your key focus is to grow existing accounts, upsell and cross sell. There will be about 2 days a month staying away due to the size of the territory and for sales team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets
- Set and initiate growth plans for the future of the territory
- Prospect, identify and nurture your own pipeline
- Ensure high levels of customer service and establish strong relationships with customers
- Ensure good administration and maximise efficiency and service
- Follow through on all opportunities
- Book your own appointments and manage your time effectively
- Journal plan to ensure minimal time in the car
- Introduce new products to your customer base
- Produce weekly sales reports
- Where possible reduce travel/accommodation costs
