Automation Test Analyst – Hybrid – up to £60,000

An innovative company in the fintech industry is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join their growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products that serve a large and diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to enhance testability and strengthen automation coverage.
• Review and analyse test results, reporting issues and driving improvements in product quality. • Contribute to the design of automation frameworks and explore new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, helping define and validate acceptance criteria.
• Log, track, and retest defects with precision and attention to detail.
• Mentor team members in QA best practices and automation strategies.
• Keep up to date with QA tools, trends, and methodologies.

Technical Skills needed:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing and software quality assurance.
• Strong experience in building Mobile automation frameworks (Appium)
• Strong proficiency in Playwright or Selenium
• Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks
• Competency in API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and SQL
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, or TestRail.

Desirable skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6 or JMeter.
