A global asset manager is seeking to hire an Investment Specialist to join the Global Fixed Income investment team. This role will act as a vital link between investment and sales & marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team.
- Direct contact with clients and consultants on any investment related queries thus needing in depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products and capabilities.
- Developing and promoting the fixed income strategies both internally and externally.
- Involved in the production of detailed investment related materials.
- Conduct competitor analysis and help identify strategy positioning and pricing opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar investment/product specialist capacity.
- Ability to present and communicate with key stakeholders within the business.
- Strong interest in fixed income investing.
- Strong academic background.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA would be advantageous.
- Personable character with the ability to foster good working relationships with other individuals.
- Hard-working and energetic individual.
