Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services / MEP

Hybrid, North Kent

Β£28k – Β£40k dependent on experience

This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres.

The culture is supportive, and geared towards your ongoing development, offering you exposure to interesting, varied work. The people you will be working alongside are a friendly relaxed team of engineers with collaboration at centre of their culture.

Responsibilities

* Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion.

* Working alongside senior engineers developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief.

* Carrying out the detailed electrical services design and calculations using HevaComp, Amtech, IES, Dialux and/or similar design software tools.

* Production/writing of electrical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.

* Dependent on your experience level you will represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site.

Experience & Qualifications

* Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering, preferred although not essential

* Design experience in Electrical building design systems. xiskglj

* Confident user of a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux or Relux.

* An enthusiasm for continued learning and development would be beneficial
