A specialist provider of Will writing and estate planning services is seeking a Legal Consultant to advise clients on Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). The role involves conducting client meetings, drafting documents, and providing expert guidance on estate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings to provide Will-writing advice
- Draft Wills, Trusts, and LPAs using internal systems
- Follow up with clients to gather necessary information and finalise documents
- Manage and update CRM records
- Support clients with LPA submissions and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Attend client roadshows and regional meetings, with occasional overnight stays
- Maintain diary management and coordinate travel arrangements
Candidate Requirements:
- Recent Legal Graduates will be considered (Please note: training contracts are unable to be offered at this stage)
- Or at least 2 years of client-facing experience (F2F and via Teams/Zoom)
- Clean driving licence (own car not required)
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email management
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel in and around London, including regional trips
Desirable:
- Experience in financial services (e.g. mortgages, life insurance)
- Knowledge of Will writing or estate planning (not essential)
- STEP or CILEX qualification (or currently studying)
