About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored, high-quality teaching to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You’ll work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to ensure that each child’s education plan is fully supported and effectively delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs and support staff to create and implement EHCPs
- Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or PMLD)
- A patient, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
