About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored, high-quality teaching to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You’ll work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to ensure that each child’s education plan is fully supported and effectively delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs and support staff to create and implement EHCPs
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or PMLD)
  • A patient, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
