Hunter Philips are partnered with one of the country’s leading organisations in delivering clean energy. We are searching for an experienced and knowledgeable 400kV SAP to join the project, ensuring SFTS and training up junior members of staff.
Responsibilities:
- Safety from the System (SFTS)
- Issuing safety documents
- Carrying out isolations
- Switching on the networks under the clients safety rules
- Supporting on outages as and when required
- Leading maintenance activities
- Mentoring junior team members, sharing expertise, and helping them learn the ropes on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience in capacitor systems (essential)
- HV cable knowledge required
- DC experience is a bonus – we’re happy to upskill the right person
- Ex-ENGED SAPs are desired but not essential
- Familiarity with interconnector systems
Logistics:
- Monday to Friday, based on a 10-hour day
- There may be some weekend work during outages or trips
- All inclusive rate, Outside IR35
- ASAP start
