The Opportunity
Are you a skilled Senior Test Specialist with a passion for quality assurance, infrastructure and application testing? This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your experience will directly contribute to the success of mission-critical programmes with one of the leading companies in the defence and security space.
The Role
As a Senior Test Specialist, you will lead and support testing efforts across multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model). You’ll collaborate closely with project stakeholders and test teams to define and deliver robust test strategies across infrastructure, application, and hardware environments.
You will:
- Lead and mentor testers, contributing to a high-performance test practice.
- Produce test artefacts: plans, scripts, reports, and manage defects.
- Execute both manual and automated tests, including functional, non-functional, E2E, and regression testing.
- Coordinate environments, tools, and resources to support testing.
- Ensure delivery aligns with project schedules and quality standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Solid experience in manual and automated testing across different testing types.
- Hands-on with Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, and VMware.
- Strong understanding of test lifecycle, SDLC, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience using JIRA and test metrics collection.
- ISTQB Foundation (or higher) certified.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to lead small teams and manage test deliverables independently.
