Location: Irlam

Salary: up to circa £28,000 + excellent holidays and half day finish on Fridays!

We are recruiting on behalf of an established company based in Irlam, Salford. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their finance team with the addition of an experienced Finance Assistant. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented and proactive individual who will support day-to-day transactional finance activities, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Supporting with the preparation and processing of weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Managing and reconciling company credit card and expense claims
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
  • Assist with accounts receivable and credit control duties when required
  • Responding to finance-related queries from suppliers and internal teams
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role, with solid accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
