A market leading global company within the defence sector are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager with a passion for innovative software to join them in Bristol. You will be delivering cutting-edge software solutions for middleware and embedded systems within aerospace electronics and weapons systems.

This position is subject to security clearance and so all candidates must be British Citizens and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. Previous or current SC and DV clearance is highly beneficial.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive several software development teams on Human-Machine Interface and Cyber projects for embedded systems within remote electronic devices and their controllers
- Collaborate across the business to utilise current products or develop new ones
- Responsible for full SDLC with Bids, planning, budgets, reporting and delivery
- Ensure software is reliable, safe, secure and fulfils the full brief
- Manage, prioritise and deliver multiple projects to agreed parameters and timeline
- Work closely with stakeholders internally, externally and through customer engagement and 3rd party suppliers
Experience & Knowledge
- Previous project management experience of delivering software to complex systems throughout the SDLC
- Technically managed teams of software developers
- Timeline, cost and change control
- Demonstrable experience of engaging in stakeholder and client management
- A strong technical background and knowledge of C++, C#, Windows/Linux OS Lockdown, Automation Testing and HMI design is highly desirable
- Prince2, Agile, SDLC and other relevant certifications would be beneficial
