Duration: Temporary 6 month (rolling)

Hours: 37 per week

Rate: £14.36 per hour

BRC are working with a well-known local authority who governs a diverse area that includes coastal towns, rural villages, and urban centres. It is responsible for delivering a wide range of public services such as education, housing, transportation, environmental management, and social care. The region benefits from a blend of scenic landscapes and community-focused development, with ongoing initiatives aimed at sustainability, economic growth, and resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all tasks on the site.
  • Working alongside the carpenters and bricklayers.
  • Working in the Void department to assist in retrofitting existing council stock.
  • Giving support to all aspects of construction work and delivering materials to sites, as necessary.
  • Cleaning and furniture removal of Void properties as needed.
  • Good time keeping skills are required as well as being a good team player in a busy department.

Essential Skills:

  • Needs to be able to work in a team to accomplish jobs and able to complete tasks on their own.
  • Previous experience necessary.
  • Full, clean license is essential.
