We are looking for a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to conduct fire risk assessments across various property types, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards. The role involves identifying fire hazards, assessing risks, and providing recommendations to improve safety measures and mitigate fire-related risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough fire risk assessments for residential, commercial, industrial, and public premises.
- Assess fire safety measures, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, and evacuation procedures.
- Develop detailed reports with actionable recommendations for reducing risks.
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Provide guidance on fire safety policies and practices to meet statutory requirements.
- Recommend appropriate fire protection systems, equipment, and procedures.
- Assist in developing and delivering fire safety training programs for employees or tenants.
- A recognised UK Spec Engineering Degree Qualification in Fire Engineering / Fire Safety or Higher-Level Engineering Qualification with demonstrable career Fire Engineering Industry training and delivery.
- Membership of a recognised Fire Risk Assessors Register.
- Should demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of UK legislation, regulations, standards, and industry best practice guides for the built environment.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience within the UK Fire & Construction Industry, particularly in the means and methods of design, specification, installation, bringing into use, lifecycle maintenance, and management of the built environment.
